"My years at FBCS have become ... a resource for me in daily Christian living and in full time ministry. Academically FBCS gave me a Biblical outlook on education and a tremendous boost as I entered Bible college. Personally and spiritually, it compelled me towards godliness and integrity. I was constantly challenged to keep every area of my life in order and to grapple with that all important word: 'priority.'" Natalie Eaton, FBCS Alumni

"We kept our kids in FBCS because it was one more tool to reinforce what we were trying to teach at home." Shirley Carroll, Parent of 3 FBCS alumni who have gone on to graduate from the Cleveland Institute of Music, Ohio State University, and Cornell University

"To us, FBCS meant security-security from abusive language and abusive actions on the part of people. It meant loving care from people I knew loved God, loved teaching God's Word, and loved their students. It meant to have the ability to pray every day-whenever they wanted to pray-to have chapels where Godly people were teaching about God-to have books that were God-centered. It meant to have friends for my child that had the same mindset as my child did, which was to love and serve God. My child got all that from FBCS!" Bob & Elaine Williams, parents of FBCS alumni, Class of 1993

"I'm thankful for the contribution FBCS made to my children's lives. The staff of First Baptist not only gave my children great academic training, the staff exemplified Christian character. Kim and Kevin could not have had better role models. As my children have married and now have their own families, I can see the difference that First Baptist Christian School made in them." Dr. Bradley W. Quick, Chairman of the School Board, Pastor - First Baptist Church of Elyria

Elementary Classroom

"We love our school because it honors God and brings glory to Him by partnering with parents to teach our children that He is to be first in their lives. The teachers at First Baptist Christian School love their savior Jesus Christ and teach about Him along with their other academics. It is good to know that we don't have to "re-teach" or "de-program" our children each day when they get home from school. We take comfort in the fact that our children are in a loving and safe environment and that their minds are safe from an "anti-God" world view. Our children love their teachers and our family has been truly blessed by First Baptist Christian School." Chris & Narelle Simmons, parents of current FBCS students

"I have had 6 of my children attend FBCS. The school has provided the desired reinforcement of what they receive at home. The unique thing that stands out to me about FBCS is their ability to adjust to the needs of my children. Having had both a valedictorian student and also some children with learning disabilities, the needs of my family have been quite varied. In each case, the staff at FBCS has met the challenge. It is a great school no matter what the need. I certainly can vouch for that!" Pastor Dan & Bonnie Parker, Parents of current FBCS students & alumni, Classes of 2003 & 2009
