Pastor David Burman Jr. joined the staff at FBC in 2021. He graduated from Faith Baptist Bible College with a Bachelor’s in Pastoral Youth and Counseling and earned a Mater’s in Ministry from Piedmont International University. Pastor Dave is no stranger to our church and school, as he previously served as our Youth Pastor from 1999-2011. He was also heavily involved in the school during this time as JV Volleyball Coach and JH Basketball coach for many years. He then served as Lead Pastor at FBC in Niles, OH from 2011-2021. Pastor Dave currently serves as Lead Pastor of First Baptist Church of Elyria and is looking forward to a year as interim administrator of FBCS. He and his wife, Jen have three children, David (Class of 2021), Derek (FBCS Class of 2023), and Kate (FBCS Class of 2026).
